Environmental Courses
This section offers a range of specialized training programs aimed at enhancing environmental awareness and building practical skills for managing environmental aspects in industrial facilities and large-scale projects, in line with local regulations and international standards.
Courses cover topics such as: waste management, emissions control, spill prevention, environmental impact assessment, and emergency environmental response.
The focus is on empowering technical and management personnel to integrate sustainability and environmental responsibility into daily operations, promoting improved environmental performance and minimizing negative impacts.
ISO “14001” Lead Auditor
This course will be handled through external accredited instructors.
The program covers the principles of environmental management systems, ISO 14001:2015 requirements, audit program management, audit reporting, and handling findings and nonconformities.
Ensuring that the participants are fully capable of leading both internal and external audit teams professionally and effectively.
COSHH Manager Certification
This certification is designed for individuals responsible for the management and control of hazardous substances in the workplace, in accordance with COSHH regulations (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health – UK) and international safety standards.
The course covers chemical classification, understanding Safety Data Sheets (SDS), health risk assessments, implementing control measures, safe storage, and proper incident response procedures.
It also emphasizes the development of an effective management system to ensure compliance and reduce occupational exposure to hazardous chemicals.
Environmental Sustainability
This course focuses on the principles and practical applications of environmental sustainability in industrial and organizational settings, promoting responsible resource use and long-term environmental stewardship.
Key topics include sustainable development principles, carbon footprint, energy and water efficiency, waste management, green economy transition, and alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The course also emphasizes integrating sustainability into corporate policies and fostering an environmentally conscious workplace culture.
Environmental Compliance & Reporting
This course equips participants with the knowledge and skills required to ensure organizational compliance with environmental laws and regulations, while effectively preparing and submitting accurate environmental reports.
Topics include understanding regulatory requirements, monitoring pollutants and emissions, managing environmental records, compiling environmental performance reports, and liaising with regulatory bodies.
The course emphasizes environmental transparency and the role of reporting in improving performance and reducing legal and financial risks associated with non-compliance.
Environmental Emergency Plan
This course prepares participants to develop and implement effective environmental emergency plans to respond to sudden incidents such as chemical spills, uncontrolled emissions, or accidental pollution, minimizing impact on the environment and public health.
The training covers emergency planning steps, scenario identification, environmental risk assessment, assignment of roles and responsibilities, rapid response systems, and the use of containment and control equipment.
It also includes realistic drills to ensure that response teams are fully prepared to act efficiently during environmental emergencies.
COSHH Risk Assessor Course
This specialized course trains participants to assess health risks associated with the use and handling of hazardous substances in the workplace, in accordance with COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations.
The course covers chemical classification, interpreting Safety Data Sheets (SDS), evaluating routes of exposure (inhalation, skin contact, ingestion), estimating risk levels, and identifying appropriate control measures such as ventilation, PPE, and safe storage practices.
It also includes guidance on preparing and maintaining legally compliant COSHH risk assessment records.
Norm Safety Awareness
This course is designed to raise awareness among workers about the hazards associated with Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM), which may be encountered in industries such as oil & gas, mining, or water treatment.
The program covers NORM sources, identification methods, potential health effects, exposure limits, monitoring and detection techniques, and appropriate personal and workplace protective measures.
It also addresses regulatory compliance obligations and safe handling of NORM-contaminated materials and waste to ensure the protection of personnel and the environment.
Occupational Dermatitis Prevention
This course aims to raise awareness among workers and supervisors on how to identify and prevent occupational dermatitis, which results from exposure to chemicals or environmental factors in the workplace.
The program covers types of work-related skin conditions, common irritants and allergens, prevention methods including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), skincare practices, and organizational controls to reduce exposure.
It also includes guidance on early symptom reporting and implementing control strategies to minimize chronic cases and reduce work-related absences.
Hazardous Substances Routes-to-Entry
This course is designed to raise awareness of the primary routes through which hazardous substances can enter the human body, and the potential acute or long-term health effects resulting from such exposures.
The program covers the four main routes of entry:
- Inhalation (through the lungs)
- Dermal absorption
- Ingestion (accidental swallowing)
- Injection (via cuts or punctures)
Participants will also learn about exposure risk factors, how to read Safety Data Sheets (SDS), proper selection and use of PPE, and the implementation of engineering and administrative controls to minimize exposure.
Spill Prevention
This course equips participants with the knowledge and practical steps necessary to prevent chemical, oil, or industrial spills before they occur and minimize their impact on safety and the environment if they do.
The program covers types of spill-prone substances, common causes of incidents, safe storage design, equipment maintenance, proper handling procedures, and containment systems.
It emphasizes a “prevention-first” culture through proactive planning, routine inspections, and training staff in preventive behavior and emergency preparedness.
Haz-Com Training
This course is designed to help employees understand and safely handle hazardous chemicals by recognizing workplace communication systems, in alignment with OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard.
It covers the components of Safety Data Sheets (SDS), understanding chemical labels, GHS pictograms, identifying physical and health hazards, and proper response to exposure or emergencies.
The training also emphasizes workers’ right to know and the employer’s duty to provide clear information and regular safety instruction.
